I had a huge privilege of interviewing Daniel DiPiazza of Rich20Something.
If you’re considering going freelance or already are doing that, chances are you know who Daniel is. His honest writing style and musings on topics of leadership, entrepreneurship, and creating the life you want have been featured in some of the top publications including Time Magazine, Fortune, and Entrepreneur Magazine.
However, it wasn’t always like that. Daniel comes from very humble beginnings; and Rich20Something started as a blog in his basement. He firsthand experienced all of the hurdles of entrepreneurship he talks about; all of his three six-figures freelance businesses has zero startup capital. These experiences prompted Daniel to write a book by the same name. Rich20Something: Ditch Your Average Job, Start an Epic Business, and Score the Life You Want became an instant success and landed in top positions on the New York Times best-selling list.
We have chatted with Daniel about:
- perceptions about the millennial generation and the new economy;
- how to hustle your way to the life you love;
- the difference between failing and failure;
- how to find and nurture your superfans;
- why cutting down your audience might be a good idea;
- and what medium Daniel bets on to continue to deliver his messages.
